WeRide Awarded ISO/SAE 21434 Automotive Cybersecurity Process Certification

Shanghai, May 29, 2023 -- WeRide officially announced the successful attainment of the ISO/SAE 21434 Road Vehicles - Cybersecurity Engineering (hereinafter referred to as "ISO/SAE 21434") certification for automotive cybersecurity management systems. The internationally renowned certification body TÜV NORD presented WeRide with the certificate.

The achievement of the ISO/SAE 21434 certification signifies the industry-recognized high-standard cybersecurity management system of WeRide. It means that the entire lifecycle of WeRide's autonomous driving product development, production, and operation complies with international standards, demonstrating the capability to provide network security products that align with the best practices for partners in the smart automotive industry.

The objective is to prevent cybersecurity attacks on connected vehicles by enforcing cybersecurity processes throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring the network security of intelligent connected vehicles.
